#Newt Festival 2012
The Newt Festival is the largest of its kind in Somerset with over 85 Real Ales on sale each year as well as local cider, bottled beers, wines and of course a range of non alcoholic drinks. Great live music is played throughout the weekend with on average 13 bands performing on stage in the main marquee. 13 - 14 July. More Information.


# Armed Forces Day
The Town Council is holding an Armed Forces Day event for the whole weekend of the 23rd & 24th June 2012 with arena activities, and displays on the Town Square, the Italian Gardens, the rear of the Royal Hotel and the Beach Lawns in Weston-super-Mare, and supporting other activities during the following five days, on the Beach Lawns, the Weston-super-Mare Museum and the Helicopter Museum, until Friday 29th June.
